8/2004-2/2005: Working on fisheries ecology at the University of Wales, Bangor
Tasks include:
- a field trip of ten days on a research vessel on the Irish Sea to collect samples of benthic fauna
- characterisation of benthic invertebrate fauna
- Writing a report on the impact of bottom trawling on benthic invertebrate fauna

Laboratory Techniques:

PCR, cloning of PCR-products, gel-electrophoresis of DNA and RNA, sequencing c-DNA, Northern-Blot, SDS-PAGE, Western-Blot, ELISA.
